Recovery
from a debilitating health condition by following natural health care practices
30 years ago inspired Helga Nehl's personal and professional pursuit of best
practices in the wholistic health field. The powerful experience drove Helga
to enter a four-year program in herbology, aromatherapy, yoga and Eastern
philosophy while living in Florida in the 1970s.
Over the years, Helga continued to earn certificates, diplomas and degrees in natural health care philosophies, therapies and treatments from prestigious resources in the U.S. and Europe, including programs developed by French physician Bruno Chikly and Austria's Dr. Marika von Viczay.
Helga and her late husband, the renowned nutritionalist Dr. Albert E. Nehl who died in a tragic accident a few years ago, worked and studied with some of the world's leading physicians and scientists in the field of bioenergetic medicine including Drs. Reinhold Voll, Helmut W. Schimmel and Julian N. Kenyon. In 1981, they opened the first comprehensive wholistic health center in Bartow County, Georgia, after making the area their new home. While maintaining a satellite office in New York City for 14 years, Helga and Albert served as consultants to various health organizations in the United States. Until 2001, Helga also served as president of Life Quest Formulas, Inc., a company co-founded by the Nehls to provide nationwide distribution of the line of nutritional supplements developed by Albert.
A new Lifestream Anti-aging
Clinic opened by Helga in 2001 provides treatments to slow the aging process
and reverse the progression of age-related diseases. The clinic, although
located approximately 10 miles north of Cartersville, Georgia -- a fast-growing
suburb of Atlanta -- is nestled within the clinic's serene, gated countryside
property. The clinic also provides services in satellite offices in Roswell,
Kennesaw and Dalton, Georgia.
